First time eating here. We are from Lubbock- attending a family reunion at Old River Road RV Resort. A group of 15 of us went to eat here. We all ordered different things- chicken fried steak- catfish- wings-hamburger. All the dishes were delicious and came out timely- hot and fresh. We will definitely return next year. On the way to an event in Constitution City, Texas, we stopped in Comfort, Texas at Brene's Kitchen. Having traveled hundreds of miles in the previous couple of days we were looking for Real food (as opposed to QuikTrip or Truck stop food). Well, we found it!!! Whether it's all day breakfast, lunch or dinner. Whether pancakes, steak, or Texas BBQ - they have it, plus a great salad bar! And the quality is top notch because it's sooo fresh and prepared so well! Just what we needed.

This was my first time visiting BRene’s Kitchen in Comfort, TX. And it won’t be my last!! The food was fresh and delicious!! We started with an order of the cheese sticks and I highly recommend these!! Delicious!! I ate the chicken fingers, which were very tender and juicy!! Delicious! My husband ordered the Rhett’s Smash Burger and he said it was the best burger he’s eaten in a long time!! Then we ate the banana split for dessert!! Don’t attempt this by yourself..you’ll need at least 2 or more people to finish off this massive, delicious, treat!! I highly recommend you eat here!!
