I asked a shop keeper near Multan Clock Tower where I could find a good taste of fish in this city of sufis, and his immediate reply was Sheedan baba ky dhabey pr jaein (go to baba Sheedan restaurant). I turned my car and with some difficulty found a place to park it as the dhaba is situated in a narrow and congested street in the heart of the city. I asked the waiter for Rahu fish and ...nada, he refused. I was immediately in a flux as my sect allows eating only a limited kind of fish. He said they had finger fish and some dumra fish available. So I ordered the second one. Turned out to be a good choice and tasty one. Prices are quite reasonable and value for money. But the sitting is not very good and quite unclean.
