Babel is pretty near Central Library (Openbare Bibliotheek). Taste good pizza at this restaurant when you happen to be near it. In accordance with the guests' opinions, waiters serve good coffee.

Fairly cozy restaurant with tasty dishes. However, I still don't know whether you can pay at both cash registers or whether one is for the food and the other for the coffee and tea bar. Barista and cashier were very friendly! Had a really disappoing experience. We ordered 2 burgers with fries. My partner got a decent amount of Fries while i got a quarter of the amount. Asking for more fries just got me a rude reply. I was so excited to come to Babel because it's on the 7th floor of the OBA Oosterdok (the large public library, which is really gorgeous). The restaurant is beautiful; you can grab a coffee and work or read with natural light and plants all around. You can also sit outside and overlook the city. The food itself is just okay and a bit overpriced. It's worth it for the beautiful atmosphere but just grab a coffee or snack.
