Such a cute little place. Unaware, I arrived 30mins before closing, but the 2 gentlemen working there were delightfully welcoming. Explained that kitchen was closed but I was able to select from the pre made selection behind the glass. I had a toastie and a latte. Both were of good quality and the ambiance was lovely. Quiet, contemporary music was playing and the large windows encourage you to sit and watch the world go by. Limited seating inside. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Baby Elephant is our everyday go to. The coffee is phenomenal; (I used to have a normal almond latte and now a decaf almond latte - can’t taste the difference)! All milks are available, lots of little treats, and it’s my husband’s favourite hot chocolate in the West. They even give marshmallows to the adults! Best of all though is the unwavering commitment to service. All the staff are gracious, kind, and remember all the little details. They know our names, orders, and the cherry on top is the time they take to make my daughter’s day by sneaking in an extra marshmallow for her, or stopping to have a “chat” and cuddle with her even though she can’t talk yet! Highly recommend. This is a wonderful establishment and team. You won’t be disappointed. Very friendly staff. The coffee is nothing less than you expect in Melbourne. The menu has variety and what I’ve tasted is great. Best of all there is lots of seating outside under cover or in the open if you want a bit of vitamin D with your meal.
