Visited on a Monday evening, I was one of only two customers. The barman was so busy chatting to his female colleague that it took him a few minutes to notice me. Then he pulled the worst-presented pint I’ve ever had put before me. His unusual technique involved filling the glass one-third, letting it settle, then pouring the rest in to create a massive head which he scooped out with a spoon. . I couldn’t be bothered to say anything so I drank it and left. If you’re looking for a decent pint in a good atmosphere go 5 minutes up the street to The Short Hall. Price per person: €1–10 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

A surprise next to my hotel. Amazing ambience! Everything as described and good prices. The pizza was terrific. It's a shame I'm not from the city and don't speak the language... Anyway, good service and amazing Austrian and Irish beer. Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
