Disrespectful and discriminatory treatment toward foreign customers. My husband and I have been visiting this place very often for the past two months, usually after shopping, because it is unfortunately one of the few places where we can relax a little after work. However, from the very beginning, the attitude from part of the staff has been negative and uncomfortable. I do not speak German fluently, but I always try my best to communicate politely and respectfully. Unfortunately, once they realize that I am not local, the behavior changes completely. Some of the blonde women at the cashier are especially rude, cold and dismissive. Many times I have been standing quietly in line waiting for my turn, only to be ignored while they serve people behind me first as if I am invisible. Even when I politely ask for a pastry or dessert, I often receive the worst-looking or stale piece available. After experiencing this repeatedly, it no longer feels accidental. It feels like clear discrimination toward foreigners and people who do not speak the language perfectly. No customer deserves to feel unwelcome or looked down on simply because they come from another country. Very disappointing experience.
