The staff are kind and friendly, the sourdough breads are divine (yes, I've tried them all), and the cookies, the pasties and quite frankly, everything else they have, is simply delicious If you're sick of the rubbish breads on offer at the supermarkets and you prefer fresh, healthy and delicious bread, then Backhaus Foodstore is the only place to go in Essendon. It's where I get my bread every week, and have been since they opened. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
