I’ve given backporch probably a dozen chances and every time I am disappointed. I miss when the country club was a fine (pre-Payton’s Place) or even mid dining establishment. It’s absolutely wild to walk into such an upscale looking building and find the atmosphere of a dive bar. Not to mention, the food just isn’t good. I tried something different every time I went, because none of it was worth ordering twice. It’s loud as hell, (with terrible music to boot), patrons are loud and drunk (the bar area used to be separate for a reason). It’s rather sad, but not surprising. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

We enjoyed the nachos with brisket and the Hummingbird cake, the food was absolutely delicious and a fantastic flavor with each bite. Our waitress Haley was kind, attentive, and on her game with a positive attitude! Haley’s outstanding service was greatly appreciated and noted. She made the atmosphere to watch the football game at “Backporch Drafthouse” amazing! We loved it!
