We have visited this place several times before, but on our last visit, the waiter was extremely rude to us. He complained because I had placed my motorcycle helmet on an empty plastic chair. When I politely asked where I should put it instead, he replied, “I don’t know, and I don’t care.” Right next to our table there was a stack of several identical plastic chairs. I pointed to them and asked if I could take one, but he refused, saying that ours was a table for two. At that point, we got up and decided to leave. After having dinner at another restaurant, where we were treated kindly and left completely satisfied, we walked past Pizzeria Da Baffetto again. The same stack of unused chairs was still there, untouched. He managed to lose a customer forever. I don’t understand why someone with such an attitude works as a waiter. We can happily spend our money elsewhere—and we did. Never again, Pizzeria Da Baffetto. There are many wonderful places in Rome that value their customers and deserve your money.
