Employees didn't acknowledge me when I came in. Ordered ahead and after the expected wait time had to wait an extra 20minutes. Once I received my order, I realized I was missing half of what I had ordered. The rectified it, not quickly but eventually Service: Delivery Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I visited Bagel Brothers of New York yesterday morning and unfortunately, my experience was far from ideal. I placed a simple order at 9:05 am for five bagels—four with butter, and one with cream cheese, all toasted. There were only 6 other customers (2 in front of me) by the time I ordered. Despite the simplicity of my order, I didn’t receive it until over 30 minutes later, which was frustrating, especially since several people who ordered after me (some with more complicated sandwich orders) got their food before I did. I asked twice about the status of my order, only to be told each time that it was still being made. By the third request, my bagels were finally ready, but no one had called my name to let me know, leaving me waiting even longer than necessary. To add to the frustration, I was managing my two young children, ages 2 and 4, while waiting, which made the whole ordeal even more stressful. When I got home to hand out the bagels to my family, I discovered that the most important one—my wife’s bagel with cream cheese—was missing. It turns out the cashier had marked my order as a phone order, despite me placing it in person, which probably explains why my name was never called. Sadly, this experience reflects a decline in the quality of service I’ve noticed over the past year. The wait times for basic orders have become unacceptable, and the store layout feels congested and chaotic. The only silver lining is that the bagels and food are still good—when you actually get what you ordered. But with service like this, it’s hard to recommend the place anymore. They're also always out of rainbow bagels....which is the main reason my kids ask to go there....
