A hidden gem! Love this place and look forward to eating here every time we go on a backpacking trip which takes us through Atlanta. The Honey wine is amazing, although it doesn't seem to have much alcohol at all. To me that doesn't matter, as the taste is great. Food is spicy, and flavorful. Some dishes have elements similar to Indian cuisine, some have elements similar to Chinese cuisine. I like Ethiopian food. If you like spicy, I recommend Doro Wat (chicken stew/curry). Otherwise a safe bet is Chicken or Lamb tibbs. The best part is a lot of Africans and Ethiopians frequent this place. I have more faith in its authenticity when the target audience is the peoples whose cuisine(s) the restaurant serves. I enjoyed my visit at Bahel Ethiopian Restaurant. All of the items we ordered were delicious and brought out in perfect timing. The environment was clean and the atmosphere was very nice. I would highly recommend checking it out if in town. I Cannot wait to return.
