Busy place with nice spicy food. We ordered Pepper Mutton fry, Plain Dosa, and Vijayawada Chicken Biriyani. Mutton Pepper fry is very well done with the meat melting. Dosa is great as well as Sambar. Vijayawada Biryani is only for people who can manage really spicy hot food. Even for us who eat spicy, it was on top spice. We were told Hyderabadi version is less spicy. Taste and quantity are unbeatable. Even for a weekday, it looked so busy. Excellent service too. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I just had one of the best Indian dining experiences in the city! First off, the service was exceptional—so friendly and attentive. Even without a reservation, they found us a spot, and it’s no surprise the place fills up fast. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with modern touches, wooden accents, and sleek artwork—it definitely gives off a premium vibe. Now, the food... just wow. One of my all-time favorite South Indian dishes is Hyderabadi biryani, and they nailed it. Bold spices, fragrant aromas, and that sauce on the side? Next-level. The Chicken 65 paired with the veggie biryani was pure bliss. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their Southern Indian specialties! Huge shoutout to Raji (hope I got the name right) for making our night extra special. Thank you! A friend recently recommended an Indian restaurant for me to try knowing that I love spicy dishes. As I walked in to this restaurant, I was amazed at how packed it was as each table and sitting was used. I didn’t know that it was a special weekend of celebration in the Indian culture. I was greeted by a young lady name Mehak who sat me down to a spacious table within seven minutes when a spot was opened up. I ordered many various dishes to sample with suggestions given to me by Mehak. She took the time to explain the extensive menu offerings. It was a bit overwhelming but she guided me through it. I had one of the best Indian meals I’ve ever tasted in Calgary in a very very long time. Each dish was lovingly prepared with its own unique flavours. The highlight for me was the spicy Basa fillet dish. It was cooked in coconut-based sauce with green chilis and herbs. It hit my tastebuds with layers of flavours then at the end the heat of the spices kicked in. I was in a dining bliss! After my delicious meal the manager, Rabdi served me up a special dessert based upon a clsssic desert I love ordering at most Indian restaurants called Gulab Jamun though this time they added a special sauce so it was Gulab Jamun Rabdi that I tried. It was quite rich in its flavour and a fantastic way to end my meal. A special thank you goes out to both servers: Aman & Mehak who made my entire experience there enjoyable. If you haven’t tried out this restaurant, I highly encourage you to give it a go before it turns in to a place where reservations is highly recommended cause it’s a busy place.
