Lovely place to stay on the peninsula. Just did the one night but could have stayed longer. Beautiful property and great breakfast options including hot cross buns in the lead up to Easter

Very disappointed with our stay here. We booked for 2 nights at the last minute based on the reviews and lovely photos on the website. It was raining lightly when we arrived late afternoon. First thing we noticed was the verandah looked very unkept with sad neglected pot plants and leaves everywhere and definitely in need of a tidy up and paint. Outdoor furniture certainly did not look inviting. We were greeted by our host Beverly who looked like a lovely elderly lady but when we queried the state of the house she told us it was quaint. We were given the Edwardian suite, sitting room, bedroom and bathroom. Everything was clean however very, very tired especially the bathroom. Breakfast included bread bought the day before with cereal, bread, toaster and kettle. It was make your own. It was barely sufficient but definitely not worth the $250 per night price tag (more like $150 if that).We tried to contact Beverly on 3 occasions by phone but she never picked up to discuss our concerns. In the end we never took up our second night. It wasn't worth it. Service: 1
