Bakery Gen, nestled on Oshimacho's Asahi Street, is a small spot known for its freshly baked goods. The bakery primarily offers takeaway options, allowing visitors to enjoy their artisanal products on the go, though home delivery isn't available. Due to its compact and straightforward setup, it's ideal for a quick visit when in the area.
The establishment is open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. However, past patrons have noted occasional delays in opening times due to bread preparation. Despite this, its Kouign-Amann is a particular favorite among those who've stopped by, often sparking repeat visits even if limited stock is sometimes an issue.
For those considering a trip, it's worth noting that Bakery Gen doesn't have a wheelchair-accessible parking facility. Past customers might find it surprising, as the bakery hasn't shared any updates over the last few years via social media platforms like Twitter or Instagram. This lack of recent communication means availability and offerings remain based on dated customer experiences.
Simplicity and affordability are key facets of Bakery Gen, making it an intriguing stop for those exploring the culinary landscapes of Toyota. Visitors are encouraged to see firsthand what this quaint bakery has to offer.

I looked it up on the internet and came across it, so I asked. I arrived before 11 o'clock, so I waited, but they didn't open even after 11 o'clock...I didn't have anything urgent to do, so I decided to wait for a while.30 minutes. The owner? When the bread came out, I was told that I would have to prepare the bread for the reservation in about an hour.I finished my errands first and stopped by on my way home. There wasn't much in stock, but I got the Kouign-Amann that I had researched in advance! I was happy to be able to exchange it for a freshly made item. The taste is different from what I ate at another restaurant, and I'm happy because I can go there anytime. The other breads looked delicious too, so I wanted to visit them all. The reason I gave it 4 stars might be because it was a weekday, but since I have Twitter and Instagram, I wish they would have told me in advance that the opening would be delayed due to preparations.

I stopped by for the first time. Various breads and white bread. When paying the bill, he told me things like, ``The bread is for toasting'' and ``Please toast this until crispy.'' You can feel the love for bread And it's delicious. I live far away and can't go there, but if I'm nearby, I'd like to stop by.

It seems like the person baking the bread has changed. It used to be very delicious, but...
