Super chill spot for meetings or getting some work done, perfect espresso and amazing croissant. I warn you the baked goods in the case are way to tempting. Don't say I didn't warn you. :). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Price per person: $10–20

Very disappointed. Stopped by today just after 2 p.m. The place was empty. I walked from the front almost to the back without seeing a soul. I decided to leave through the side door and just as I turned I noticed an employee, who had been sitting behind the counter, stand up. Wordlessly. Didn't utter a peep. I wanted so much to like Bakewell, but having worked nearly all of my adulthood in restaurants and retail I do not tolerate indifferent or non-existent service. I'm not a gambler, but I'd bet on that employee being on their phone. Every step from the front door to the side door was a missed opportunity for a welcoming greeting, a smile, or even a glimmer of recognition that I was in the building. Or an apology as I was leaving. Zip. Zilch. Every step, after the first, from the front door to the side door was a second, third, fourth...chance to greet me. So, bye-bye Bakewell. Won't return. Service: 1
