After enjoying a beautiful sunset at Galata Bridge, our group decided to walk over to this nearby restaurant for dinner, and it turned out to be a great decision. The location is very convenient, especially if you are already in the area after sunset, so it feels like a natural next stop to continue your evening. At first, we only planned to try the famous fish shawarma, which is a local specialty in Turkey. However, from the very first bite, we were all pleasantly surprised. The fish tasted incredibly fresh, with a natural sweetness that stood out right away. When combined with the spices, fresh vegetables, and soft bread, everything came together in a very balanced and flavorful way. It was simple, but at the same time very satisfying and memorable. Because we enjoyed the shawarma so much, we decided to order more dishes to try. We added seabass and some fried fish, and both were equally impressive.
