Ballers Philadelphia is in a league of its own — and I don't say that lightly. From the moment you walk in, it's clear this place is something truly special. Let's start with the pros, because they are hands down the best in the city across every sport they offer — pickleball, padel, squash, and golf. Moose, the head padel pro, is an exceptional teacher. His clinics make the sport completely accessible no matter your level, and his energy is contagious. My husband has been taking golf lessons from Christian, who brings incredible knowledge and a real focus on proper form — he's already seen a huge improvement in his game. And if you haven't heard about Johny yet, you will — the new pickleball pro is already the talk of the town! Now, the venue itself. Ballers Philadelphia is housed in a stunning historic power plant building with 50-foot ceilings — it is an absolute architectural marvel. There is truly no cooler place in Philadelphia to pick up a racket or a club. The space is breathtaking and the atmosphere is unlike anything else in the city. The bar and restaurant is such a vibe. The cocktails are creative and the menu is delicious — perfect for refueling after a match or just lingering and connecting with fellow members. It's become one of my favorite spots to hang out post-play. And the member amenities? Unmatched. The gym and locker rooms are top tier, and the cold plunge and sauna take the recovery experience to another level entirely. Ballers Philadelphia has it all — world-class instruction, stunning facilities, incredible food and drinks, and a community that keeps you coming back. Absolute must-visit.

Wow! Thank you for taking the time to write such an incredible review, Katie! Hearing that Ballers feels “in a league of its own” is exactly what we set out to create. We’re so glad you’ve had such great experiences with our coaches and pros - they each bring so much passion, energy, and expertise to the community, and we’ll definitely make sure they see this. Love that your husband’s game is already improving too! Making Ballers part of your routine is exactly the energy we’re building here. Can’t wait to have you back on the courts (and at the bar) soon!! LFG

This place is going to end up killing someone. I was working out in the gym when I was struck in the head with a ball that fell from the courts upstairs, causing me to drop a weight on my foot. I tried exiting through the gym doors, but they're locked from the inside. I then had to walk up two flights of stairs in searing pain, limping to their nearby cafe to ask for ice, but nobody was there. I then had to walk down two more flights of stairs to get to the front desk because the elevator was broken. When I arrived, I was met not with concern nor compassion, but was told I "signed a waiver eschewing all responsibility for personal injury away from ballers and to myself". I didn't threaten a lawsuit, I just asked for some ice and crutches. While I waited for my husband to come pick me up, I decided to get something to eat in the restaurant and was served raw chicken. This place is disgusting and poorly managed. It's an absolute joke to charge money to enter this deathtrap. And to think, I was considering trying to convince my friends to get memberships. I will never set foot in this building again.

Honestly, the best sports club in the whole area. It's stunning on the inside (I meant truly epic - the ceilings must be 60 feet high). The facility has everything I need. Perfect for racquet sports, workout space is excellent. Really good food and coffee. Staff is groovy.
