We visited Balqees to try their mutton haneeth, and it turned out to be a very satisfying experience. The rice was perfectly cooked—light, fluffy, and well-balanced in flavor. The mutton was exceptionally tender, falling off the bone, and the masala had a rich, authentic taste that really stood out. What we liked most was the variety of chili pastes served alongside the dish—three different types that cater to different spice preferences, adding a nice kick to the meal. The mutton soup was also flavorful and comforting, making the overall meal even better. The restaurant offers traditional Arabic-style floor seating for families, which adds a unique and cultural touch to the dining experience. The ambiance was warm and pleasant, and the staff were proactive, attentive, and friendly. Overall, a great place for authentic haneeth with good service and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend! Went for breakfast, I order shakshuka and hummus. Both were bad... Hummus with no taste and shashuka doesnt look like shakshuka.... U cant find tomato in that... But it was indian pakistani egg burjhi... Only good thing was yemeni bread/roti Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

The food was not fresh at all, and unfortunately, it was not worth the hype. The people who are making the bloggers were making a videos is all fake it’s too much price and really not up to the mark. I will not suggest anyone to waste your money. There are way more better restaurants like Monsabat and, Hashi Basha, Kabsa house, Mandy Arabi, Sohail al Yemeni.
