I went here on a date and had a really lovely experience. The staff were super friendly, and the food was delicious without being pricey. We left feeling full and really happy with everything. Definitely a solid 10/10, would 100% recommend. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Kind of expensive for two meals but honestly it was worth every cent in the end!! All the food was so fresh and very tasty. The chicken black bean- AMAZING The chicken satay- OUTSTANDING!! The fried rice and jasmine rice very nice . Crispy dumplings are a must try especially with the curry sauce. I enjoyed everything thoroughly and the tastiest ive had in portlaoise in 7 years . I hope it does’nt change like most places over time because right now its spot on. Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So glad to see and experience the opening of Bamboo Bites!!!! We dined in and it was unreal. We were seated quickly and provided with crackers and drinks. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. It came hot and cooked to perfection!! I got the katsu curry with chips and I was very pleased! The restaurant itself is gorgeous. Beautiful decor and atmosphere, I’m so glad that we’re able to sit in now. Even the location is so convenient as it’s right in town. I can imagine myself coming here after studying in the library as it is right next to it. The service was brilliant!! As I mentioned we didn’t have to wait long for anything. They were very kind and helpful, they always made sure that we were getting on alright. Thank you Bamboo Bites, this is not the last you’ll see of me!
