I had a solid experience at the Bamboo Cafe, which boasts a pleasant and inviting ambiance. The server was attentive, and the dishes arrived promptly. However, I noticed that all the employees, including the lead shift server, seemed emotionless and lacked a friendly attitude. The broth was rich with robust pork and shrimp flavor, but it didn't quite capture the essence of a classic Vietnamese pho. It was missing the subtle sweetness and aromatic spice balance typically found in other pho cafes. While the garnishes were fresh, the broth's flavor profile didn’t align with my expectations. If you enjoy a highly savory and less sweet broth, you might find it appealing. However, if you’re looking for a more traditional, sweeter broth, I recommend exploring other options. This experience will be my first and last visit to this restaurant. I chose to leave a tip despite the staff's noticeable lack of warmth or acknowledgment. We will not return here to dine again.
