Generally I don't write reviews but haven't left with any option.I have ordered veg biryani which was available in their menu and even I have double checked with them.It wa parcel so I don't have option to verify it.Once I have reached the room which is almost 2 km far and this area don't stay awake late at night.I opened the parcel and even after some bites it is clearly understood it is meat or chicken rice. I have paid 1100, its not about money but it is about trust as a tourist.Be transparent with the food items availablity .For u it is just an order but for someone outsider it is bad memory which will tarnish the trust.

I meant to post my experience which happened a few months before. As I write this review, I am going past Dambulla today and given how terrible was the experience we had, I wated to make aware other people not to fall in the same pit once I fell in. We were a group of five. Including a couple of friends from the UK. We had a long day sightseeing and wanted to have a quick lunch just past 2.30 pm. I would not normally try a new place without at least checking the rating. Seeing this place had 4.6 rating at the time, we didn't think much of it. The prices looked above par but hoping potion size would compensate it we ordered 4 different portions to share among us including drinks for each of us. We stayed there mad hungry so long. It was just before 4 o'clock when we received our food. You would supprised to know that we were the only customers there. Looking at the portion sizes we quickly realised this wasn't enough to feed 4 children let alone 5 adults. We immediately ordered two more portions knowing it will take some time to arrive. Guess what, we had to wait another 20 minutes even after finishing the first order to receive the next order. The thing is even after consuming 6 portions among 5 people (2 men, 3 women) we were still not full. And the food!!! How they can be so stingy with the protein when they charge closer to LKR 2,000/= per dish. You could literally count the number of chicken scrapes in the fried rice using your fingers. We ordered a portion of beef noodles, there were only 6-8 very hard, chewy beef pieces on that. We paid over LKR 13,000 on that day and came out still hungry. We went in there around 3.00 pm and came out 5.00 pm. Hope you read one of these one star reviews before entering this horrible establishment. Becuase I didn't and I paid for it.
