My home away from home. The amount of peace this place has brought me amongst all the luxurious amenities and the nicest staff! Breakfast buffet was amazing, I love their espresso machine. The cappuccino was so good. Their fruit selections were always fresh. I LOVED MY FLOATING BREAKFAST EXPERIENCE! We most definitely ate the entire thing. I loved just sitting outside our villa just listening and watching the trees sway. Thank you so much Villa Zolitude and staff for making our first time to Thailand unforgettable. We will most definitely be back. Service: 5

Spent two nights here and had a wonderful experience!! From the moment we got there to the minute we left, it felt like a five star experience. The staff was very attentive, kind and went above and beyond. The rooms/pools are not fully private. I would consider them semi private but that was fine. You are in the middle of nature and it’s beautiful listening to all the birds and insects day and night. Breakfast was 12/10 and we will definitely come back. Highly recommend! Service: 5

We are writing this review to help future guests make an informed decision and not be misled by the hotel’s presentation. We stayed six nights in February in a Waterfall Duplex Pool Villa (THB 77,520 total). We booked Villa Zolitude because it markets itself as a quiet, serene spa retreat. After three weeks travelling through Thailand, we wanted to end our trip in a peaceful environment. Unfortunately, that expectation was not met. The main issue was noise and lack of prior communication. In February, cicadas create extremely loud noise starting before sunrise. I am a heavy sleeper, yet I was woken 5 out of 6 mornings. The sound continues in cycles throughout the day — far beyond what the in-room notice suggests. This is only communicated after arrival, not before booking. Additionally, the Chalong Festival was ongoing and we heard loud music from around 6 PM until as late as 1 AM. Again, this was only disclosed via a note in the villa. For a resort positioned as a peaceful hillside sanctuary, this lack of transparency is disappointing. The villa design is attractive, but at over 12,000 THB per night it does not meet premium expectations. Interiors feel dated and show signs of ageing. Insulation is poor — we had bugs inside. Showers need descaling. There was visible dirt in corners and small areas, suggesting no recent deep cleaning. Not catastrophic — but at this price, details matter. The property was also fumigated during our stay. While understandable in a tropical climate, the timing (late afternoon on our final day) further impacted the experience. Service felt surface-level rather than warm. Only the restaurant manager truly engaged with us and remembered our names. Other interactions felt scripted. After experiencing genuine Thai hospitality elsewhere — often in less expensive hotels — this was disappointing. English proficiency is limited outside of management, which led to confusion, including a spa pricing misunderstanding where we were quoted 3,300 THB for two persons but later told it was per person. Another example: a staff member rang our villa doorbell around 5 PM without notice to replace a minibar item consumed days earlier. In a private pool villa, unexpected interruptions feel intrusive. When we asked if someone could collect the floating lunch tray still in our pool, we were told to call reception ourselves. Small detail — but at this price level, service should be proactive. The spa treatments themselves were excellent — probably our best during the trip. The therapists were professional and lovely. Other points reinforcing the value concern: • Very basic early check-out breakfast box with no choice. • Limited complimentary water; minibar water is chargeable. • Gym lacks equipment. • Breakfast is decent but not exceptional for this category. None of these issues alone would define a stay. Combined — especially at this price — they significantly impacted our experience. We are glad we tried Villa Zolitude, but it did not deliver the relaxing, high-end retreat it promises. At this price level, communication, service consistency and villa maintenance need improvement. We would not return in its current state. Service: 3
