After you have seen Aussie World, come to this bar. Australian dishes are to be tried here. Nothing can be better than tasting good pizza, fillet steaks and schnitzels. Invite your family with you and have tasty banana split. It's a must when visiting Banana Bender Pub to drink delicious beer.

The Banana Bender hotel. This place is wild, it's perched on the edge of the Bruce highway, which is potentially one of the most Australian names to give a high way imaginable. Next to the Banana Bender Pub, there is a theme park called Aussie World, which is less imaginative than the Bruce Highway, but equally as Australian. Anyway, I digress. This pub is festooned with kitsch paraphernalia, the whole joint is painted in some pretty powerful pastel colours, and tbh I have no idea what the hell is going on. Surprisingly, the vegan steak kicked arse and the cocktails were banging. The lads and I were in the midst of a bender when we attended, a few glasses were broken and a pair of undies were disposed of in the sanitary bin. They were Step One undies, the owner wasnt as embarssed as he should have been , they just seemed miffed about the loss of the expensive undergarments. Btw apologies to the staff, who were all quite lovely. This place is an experience, check it out when you next find your self cruising down Bruce's Hwy. Going here is honestly a pilgrimage to deliciousness and the absurd. Maybe give Aussie world a miss. It looks like one of those theme parks you see on the news for nefarious reasons. Food was good , staff were rude to my husband and told they were to busy to answer his question, he left a bottle of wine in the table that was given to him as a gift (unopened ) we went down stairs and 1 minute later he went upstairs and asked the girl cleaning the table if she saw it and she replied no I have by and I’m too busy , so he asked someone else and her reply was, WHat do you want ? We are busy . Sooo rude and we are locals , live walking distant to the pub . But there was a young boy
On and he was fantastic maybe they need lessons from him
