Good ratings start from good service. If I have to rate banana leaf, I would rate it the worst. I have travelled and dined at many restaurants around the world and I can say that Banana leaf's service is by far my worst experience. I travelled from quite far and arrived at 10pm on a weekday, but the restaurant's kitchen was shut, instead of 11pm as said on Yelp. I asked the staff and he mentioned that they open again at 12pm next day. I reach the restaurant again at noon with a friend but the staff says they'll open at 1pm. So I wait for over an hour and go back in at 1:15pm and the staff says the chef hasn't arrived yet and apparently he has no idea when the chef will arrive. WTF. That's it. I knew how the service was going to be if I dined there. Never coming back.
