I've been going here since I moved to the city in 2005 and I don't think I've had one bad experience. And in 2005 I was going here as part of a handful of drunk, annoying college girls, so someone probably should've kicked us out. Great food--the achat is the stuff of dreams; sweetest staff, and very reasonable prices.
Really aesthetically pleasing restaurant. The staff are quick to respond and attend to your needs as well as quick with the food. The food here is pretty well made. It's nothing out of this world, but delicious none the less. They are well spiced and cooked well. Nothing too special, but they are done right. The curry here is really good though. Very flavorful with the right amount of spices. If there is anything that is a must try, I would say anything containing one of their curries. Price-wise they are a little bit more expensive than what I would like for the quality and quantity of food, but it's the city so it isn't too bad. Overall, probably one of the best Malaysian places in the city. It's definitely worth a visit and good for large gatherings.
This was my first time in Malaysian cuisine. My friend took me here and ordered Kanai roti. I thought they won’t have options for vegetarians but this dish was absolutely delicious and truly felt like I am in vegetarian restaurant. Dal seemed like watery but taste was great. As,I am from Toronto you guys should open franchise here too. Must visit if you’re in downtown Philadelphia.
