Banco Ramo was a brilliant find. The owner was incredibly welcoming and spoke great English, which made everything easy and relaxed. He recommended some fantastic sake and even fried up some delicious root vegetables for us on the house to try. You can really tell he loves what he does. The atmosphere feels very special and authentic, and there’s a great selection of drinks. A really memorable little spot and somewhere we would happily return to and highly recommend to experience! Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A fantastic little bar in a great location with a really cosy atmosphere. The owner was welcoming and spoke English, which made everything easy and relaxed. He recommended some excellent sake which was a lovely touch. The food was delicious and the bar itself has a really warm, local feel. You can tell the owner genuinely enjoys what he does and meeting people. He definitely made the visit memorable a brilliant place to stop in for a drink and some food.
