I have dined at Bangkok Ave for many years, as it was some of the best Thai food that I have experienced. They must have changed ownership or cooks. I ordered Pad Thai, Basil Fried Rice, & Seafood Soup, and all were completely different. A lot less flavor and more salt. The Pad Thai lacked the sweet Tamarind flavor and no longer is served with limes, the Basil Fried Rice, lacked any hint of basil and tasted like salted rice. The Seafood Soup came with the frozen rubbery squid rings and lacked the sour lemongrass flavor, but again, an abundance of salt. Even the brown rice is no longer the purple rice as before. The icing on the cake was the moldy tomato that came with the fried rice. I am very disappointed, as this was my Thai go-to place. I hope that this post gives an incentive to revert back to the authentic quality they served before the change.

Bangkok Avenue is our favorite Thai restaurant. The service is always great. The food is fantastic. Our go to dishes are yellow chicken curry, spicy fried rice and pad see ew, they are delicious. We have ordered other dishes and they are all very good. We travel from the valley to go to our favorite place and it always worth it,
