Great little Vietnamese cafe that does good coffee, a selection of Banh Mee and other dishes for dine in and takeout, plus traditional Western fare for breakfast/lunch/takeout. Me and my son decided to go and have lunch there today. The owner/manager of this cafe was very rude to us. I bought him a drink and he accidentally spilled it. While he was cleaning it up he the spilled it again. I asked for some paper towels to clean it and the response i got was “he spilled it again” in a very rude and judgemental way. I asked if she ever had kids in the cafe due to the shock of her face and she said “yes we have kids come to the cafe but they never spill drinks like this”I’m always put with my kids and have never had someone speak to me rudely because a child spilled a drink. so disappointed and will not be going back again. If you have a child who is most like to spill something please dont go there and save yourself the disappointment. Hi Umukhulthum, We are sorry you got offended over the ‘tone’ of my staff while genuinely your 5 years old son spilled the sugary drink twice in less than 20 seconds all over the table, chair and floor. Instead of getting all fired up to our staff while she has to be one cleaning up your son’s mess instead of you. You could have shown your kid some manners and respect to the staff by saying ‘please and thank you for cleaning up’. We appreciate your feedback and we hope you can supervise your son better in the future at other cafes. Warmest Regards

Whilst the quality of the coffee has always been consistent and to my liking (a nice smoothness but with enough lingering after-taste to keep you wanting more), it is the additions to their sit-down menu that have really impressed me and highlighted the range of meal services that they provide the local Manning community. A stand-out highlight was the Avocado Bruschetta (which I had with a side of scrambled eggs). Extremely fresh avocado paired with a tomato and red onion mixture created a wonderful zesty freshness balanced by a lovely hint of olive oil on a crusty ciabatta loaf. Along with the BBQ Roast Pork bun, the bruschetta will fit along nicely into the rotation of meals that keeps me coming back to Banh Mee Cafe.
