Best thing is the bao: I liked the bahn mi one and the mushroom. Korean chicken OK, but super salty—needs more sweetness to balance it out. Ramen also OK. Quite salty and not enough complex flavor—I want more garlic! Service was good, not busy on a Tuesday, but seating still tight-feeling. Not for large groups (or large people). Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Pork Meatball

I really enjoyed the food here—it’s genuinely good—but the ordering experience made things difficult. I find it challenging to decide what to order while standing in line, so on my second visit I sat down first to look at the menu online before ordering. I was quickly approached by a staff member who told me, quite abruptly, that I needed to order before taking a table. The tone felt unnecessarily harsh, and I was taken aback by the interaction. Unfortunately, the experience at the counter didn’t improve. The same staff member was dismissive rather than helpful. I tried to ask about a menu item I’d had before, but instead of clarification, I was told they didn’t offer it and was steered toward something else—which wasn’t what I wanted. The interaction felt curt and unwelcoming. It’s disappointing because the food itself is great, but the service made the overall experience feel uncomfortable. A bit more patience and friendliness would go a long way. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $40–50 Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Hello Rachel, When you arrived last night you walked in, did not talk to any of our staff, and sat at a table. We were busy at that moment so when we had time we came over to let you know that we take your order before we seat you. We do have signs in a couple places that say this but since they get missed at times we wanted to inform you so that you could place your order at the counter. You then became upset and actually started to argue that you wanted to sit and that you had been in before, again we just let you know that we prefer that you order first and then we seat you. When you ordered you said you’d been in before and thought you had our Chinese BBQ bao with tofu, we explained that we do not make that( never have), but that we do offer our Katsu bao with tofu. You then ordered that bao and a Kara Miso Ramen. I do not know how you felt we didn’t offer clarification or steered you into ordering something you didn’t want. We just simply do not make the item you thought you had on your last visit. Hope this offers clarity on the interaction. I know you were upset that you had to order before we would seat you. We were extremely busy and managing the dining room in this way is very important for us.

We got the pork belly ramen and the l belly and eggs bibimbap. The food was good but I wouldn't consider a delicious. It didn't taste as fresh as it could have. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
