Visited again my favourite bar in Rankoshi! This time they served me a special shochu made from 'rimochiso' red Jaoanese basil grown in Rankoshi. I could have ten of those! And there woud be no hangover!! Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Ask the chef! He will cook anything from what he's got. He uses very fresh local ingredients!

Lovely cafe and bar - top quality draft beer plus lots of speciality drinks. We had delicious Shakotan Blue gin, distilled near the Shakotan Peninsular- a 2 hour drive away- which is famous for the blue of the sea there. Ken-san is a talented cook who can quickly make tasty dishes to accompany your drinks. Live music here on some nights too!
