Love visiting Bar 56, great atmosphere, amazing food, reasonably priced, but more importantly Rachel is a lovely host, friendly, chatty, always with a lovely smile. She has a wonderful friendly team (Dave and the ladies)!! Nothing is too much trouble, and they do a fabulous g&t. X

Excellent high quality food, large portions at very competitive prices. The staff are attentive and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. This bar has large regular clientele, which speaks volume. Eat inside or out; comfortable inside during the colder days; outside there is a large sun terrace. There is normally parking available in the adjoining street. The owners play host to a variety of entertainers over the weekend; eyes down on Tuesday and Saturday at 3pm.
