**Watch out: they add an 18% "service charge"** Good: staff was reasonably friendly. Bad: the place was nearly empty during the dinner hour. The Salted Cod Toast was soggy and burnt; weird combo. The other two chicken dishes were dry and indistinguishable from each other. Also, they recommend "ordering a few plates and sharing family style" which is clearly just an attempt to upsell you on more food. The dishes are extremely difficult to share and absolutely not meant to be eaten family style. Would not recommend. I had been to Bar Ama before Covid and the food, drinks, service was amazing. I was excited to come back here and that they survived Covid but it's not the same :(. The food was very so so (except the vegan queso which was amazing). The food didn't have a lot of spice and flavor. The service was pretty bad too, we had pretty simple drink orders (the regular margarita) but we had to ask a few times to get the right drink/correct amount of drinks. There was also basic things like not bussing our appetizer plate for several minutes after our entrees came.
