This is a modest neighbourhood cafe in the best sense. I felt respected and welcome by the staff and enjoyed a good spaghetti al pomodoro with a Peroni (it cost me something like 11-13 Euros, good value). It was my first day in Italy and in retrospect probably the best of many places to eat that I visited, and I wish that I had taken time to go back for a second visit rather than persisting in exploring other parts of Rome. It's not avant garde or anything, nothing spectacular, but they have good food and pleasant staff, something which is harder to come by than one might expect! Price per person: €10–20 Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3
