I was overcharged double for just 1 half tuna sandwich, 1 espresso and 2 mini pistachio cannolis. The guy at the bar was miserable and it was Christmastime. Most importantly it is Rome ordinance and law to post your menu prices in a conspicuous place and there were no prices posted. I want half my money back for being overcharged double for the snacks I ordered. TOTAL RIPOFF don’t go to Bar del Sole in Rome! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Disaster! How can such a person work in the hospitality industry! When my wife and I entered the bar, the waiter (perhaps the owner) spoke to us in Italian. Seeing that there were no visible prices, we asked in Italian how much an espresso cost. He replied very loudly and angrily that I had learned the wrong sentences in Italian, that I knew Italian, but that I was not Italian. It seemed racist, really... We told nothing, and decided to go out. When he saw us leaving, he started waving his hands roughly and shouting, "Porta! Porta! Porta!" (The door!). Considering that I have been working outside in tourism for almost 30 years, I have never seen such rudeness, maybe that was the intention. We can come again with the inspection and the police... The bar was empty, except for one sleeping person with his head on the table.
