This restaurant and Porta del Popolo can be both really attractive for tourists. The truth is that you will really like tasty croissants. Visit this place and try good cappuccino.
If you look through the visitors' comments, the staff is creative at Bistro Flaminio. Fine service is something guests agree upon here. But people rate this place below average on Google.

I’m very disappointed with this place. I ordered two Americanos and was charged €6, which would have been acceptable if the coffee had actually been good. What I received tasted mostly like water, almost as if it was the leftover water from rinsing the espresso machine. What seemed strange from the beginning was that they didn’t even start the coffee machine when preparing the drinks. At first, I thought maybe they were serving some kind of cold brew, but it definitely didn’t taste like one. When I pointed out my concerns, the staff simply started talking to each other in Italian and they didn’t even want to comment on the problem. Instead, they immediately offered me another coffee, but that completely missed the point. The issue wasn’t getting a replacement drink - it was the poor quality of the coffee and the way my concerns were handled. It’s a shame, because this is another place that appears to be focused on taking advantage of tourists rather than providing a quality product and good customer service. I would not recommend it. Do not waste your time or money at Bistro Flamingo. This place is a textbook tourist trap and a complete scam. They have a chalkboard outside listing an orange juice for €3.50, but when the bill arrived, they charged me €10 for it! When I confronted them about the price trick, they just gave excuses. On top of the blatant price fraud, the croissant I ordered was absolutely horrible-stale, dry, and tasteless. There are hundreds of authentic, honest cafes in Rome. Skip this place unless you want to get scammed with terrible food and fake prices. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: €10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2
