We called here on a saturday night when a lot of other places seemed fully booked ( or just not wanting to deal with tourists). The food we had from the bar food from the beef skewers to the wagyu beef was so tasty and the barman and his other guests made us very welcome as we all watched and tried to compete against the tv show 'the floor'. All made for a great evening. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I see some foreign customers complaining about being charged for otoshi, which is a small appetizer they serve as a form of a table charge. Great hospitality, great chance to connect with the locals. Made us feel very welcome in Kanazawa. Most definitely coming back in a future trip here. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to this pub with 3 Friends, and we ordered one beer each person. The person at the bar served us one apetizer pero person without asking us. These apetizers were not tasty or nice, but I ate It and also another friend of mine did It to avoid looking impolite. Our other two Friends did not try their apetizers. When we ordered the check, we were very badly surprised as he were charged for these apetizers with the same price as the beers. In total, It was 6.100 Japan yens (1.525 pero person). Therefore, we had the feeling that we had justo been ripped off by that person...what a shame...advice for the restaurant: Next time you offer something to your clients, make them aware that they are going to be charged for that.
