Surprise find. Fantastic breakfast choice and best tostada we’ve had in Spain. I had tostada with avocado, tomato and oil. It was nice to have a choice of bread. We also tried the churros which were beautifully fresh and delicious and we had chocolate custard to dip them in. The terrace is nicely shaded in the morning looking out on the castle and church and is surprisingly tranquil. Staff were friendly too. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options for breakfast

Another hidden gem in the narrow streets of Rota adjacent to the beach is Bar La Concha. The food and service here makes this an establishment worth visiting many times. This is a nice quiet setting in the shadow of the moon castle not far from the lighthouse at the point of Rota. You will not be disappointed because the menu covers just about everything that you will need for a meal by the beach. Whether relaxing with family or forging new business relationships, this is my go-to restaurant in Rota.
