Hidden gem Italian restaurant with a Michelin star level chef. Everything is amazingly delicious on the menu. Plus the chef has special monthly menus like, Women's month, LGBTQ month special menus so definitely check the restaurant out. My friend is allergic to Gluten so the kind chef made a special custom quisine to accommodate our healthy needs and it was spot on delicious. Highly recommend this small but quaint restaurant with fun vibes and a great conversation with the owner chef. If you are visiting from outside Japan, this is the #1 place to visit for Italian cuisine plus more because the chef explores the best dishes from around the world. And only until July 2026, Bar Mogutaco's chef has a special sandwich menu, and the Reuben sandwich is to die for. Chef's Reuben sandwich with homemade Corned beef is honestly better than NYC Katz's deli (in my honest opinion). Oh my damn delicious and tender. It's a special menu only thru July 2026 if you can get to taste it. The restaurant is about 10 minutes walk from Tsukiji station and I absolutely recommend you visit and enjoy the best Italian food in Tokyo. And if you're lucky you can experience Chef's unique adaptations of cuisines from around the world. Please do not hesitate to visit, reservations recommended if you have food allergies because Chef will customize her menu for your needs. Bon Appetit. Price per person: ¥3,000–4,000

Highly recommended. The antipasti are absolutely delicious. The ingredients are top quality – even organic. The dishes are very authentic and taste just like home. You sit at the counter, which means you can have a nice chat with the owner, who is very friendly. Try the beef bamya – it’s incredibly tasty. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This has been the highlight of my Japan trip. The coziest space with the best Italian food I’ve had outside of Brooklyn. As someone coming from NYC, I wasn’t sure about Italian food in Japan - but this was truly as good if not better than the Italian at home! Yuko is such a talented chef and sweet conversationalist. You can taste the care and love she puts into the dishes. Thank you for such a beautiful, delicious meal and for a fun evening!
