Had a wonderful, relaxed dinner among a lively crowd for a Friday night. Steak tartare and the lamb with lentils were exceptional. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. The lighting is atmospheric. Tables get a bit small with multiple dishes and wine glasses, and blackboards can be a bit tricky as sun goes down, but we were well looked after; thanks to the gentleman with the glasses, beard and an accent in particular - sorry we didn't get your name! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bar Merenda is a nice surprise in Daylesford. A wine bar that looks tiny on the outside but when you walk in it opens up to this beautiful space with good seating options inside and out. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and the wine list is on point! We definitely have to try the food on next visit too, but definitely recommend stopping in Service: Dine in Meal type: Other Price per person: A$1–20 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

By far the worst service ever! The place was lively but not full, we were sat down, no menus, not asked for drinks and just left for a long time. Staff happy to chat to customers for extended periods but not serve us. Eventually walked out. Terrible place and have one star as I couldn’t give none.
