My partner and I were celebrating our 6th anniversary in Tokyo, and wanted to find a nearby bar to have a few drinks to cap off the evening. After some amazing ice cream at Mayo Flat we wandered next door to No.4. It's a basement bar, that's dimly lit but has an undeniably cool atmosphere. Staff were incredibly pleasant with great English, so ordering was super easy. I'm not much of a drinker, so the bar men whipped me up some fruit cocktails which were delicious. My partner had a spicy margarita and a cosmopolitan, and was suitably impressed. I was also delighted to see a small but well represented cigar list at the back of the drinks menu. The cigar was presented with high quality scissors, high quality ashtray and a torch lighter. We stayed for around 2 hours and left with huge smiles on our faces. Pricing was surprisingly good for such a classy feeling bar. Low key, classy, smoker friendly, great service; No.4 has everything you could want if you're looking for a great way to end your night. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Upscale cocktail bar. The drinks were a little more on the expensive side, but the presentation was awesome. They have English on the menu, and were very friendly. Would recommend to anyone visiting Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000

A small, smoky underground bar with too much faux glitz to even be called a dive bar. Stuck between high-class aspirations and service-level reality. Price per person: ¥2,000–3,000 Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
