Nice build out. Place wasn’t very crowded and it took 25 minutes to get our drinks. Meal portions were small insanely slow and generally Lam service and probably $100 a person for not much could be great but Cleary poor training.

Writing this after my 4th visit to Bar Pilar! They’ve reopened with ROSSO, so check them out while you’re waiting for your dinner table over in the main dining room! Oysters are consistently beautifully shucked and cleaned, which is less common than it should be; recommend the Alabama oysters for that saltier Gulf Coast taste, and they also tend to be a bit bigger than oysters from other regions. Have vacationed extensively on the Gulf Coast and these are definitely true, fresh oysters. Recently enjoyed the steelhead trout crudo, which had a beautiful leche de tigre that you should request a spoon to fully scoop up and enjoy. Check out the special cocktails curated and designed by their master mixologist, Daniel, who always takes good care of everyone! - Six Toed Cat: a clarified daiquiri that is refreshing, elevated, with the right amount of sweetness - Stay classy, Santiago: tastes the like the ocean!! Probably one of the most unique cocktails on the menu If you don’t come for the drinks, come for the vibes! Cozy spot with an elevated ambience that will have you coming back.
