We stopped here for breakfast while waiting for the Trevi Fountain to open, and it was the perfect little spot. It had a really quaint, cosy atmosphere, and the coffee arrived with lovely latte art that added a nice touch. The prices were very reasonable, the food was fresh and enjoyable, and the service was friendly. It was a great place to sit, relax, and start the day before exploring Rome. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for a good-value breakfast near the Trevi Fountain! Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: €1–10

The absolute best cappuccino in Rome! I visited this wonderful family-run bar during my trip and I haven't been able to enjoy a cappuccino anywhere else since. The milk texture was like liquid velvet and perfectly balanced. I also had their cornetti—the pistacchio was delicious, but the plain (vuoto) was absolutely outstanding. It is a quiet, authentic hidden gem just a short walk from the Fontana di Trevi. The staff are incredibly welcoming and provide a true local experience. Leaving a piece of my heart (and my coffee standards) at Bar San Marcello. A must-visit when you are in Rome! Delicious cappuccinos and even cuter cappuccino art! I passed by this spot after visiting the Trevi Fountain to grab a traditional Italian breakfast (cornetto and cappuccino), they didn’t have cornetto so we got croissants instead. The coffee was amazing, the croissant was yum, not very fresh but still really great. The servers were sweet & the vibe was awesome with so many locals It’s quite hot in the dining room so bring a fan All together it costed €5.60 for 2 croissants & 2 cappuccinos. This is probably the cheapest breakfast we’ve had all trip! I would come back every morning if I wasn’t leaving tomorrow.
