Serves up snacks and lunches Monday to Friday. Traditional Portuguese dishes, soup starters, three main courses, salads, desert and cakes. Hot and cold drinks, beer, cider and wine.. If you want, you can try a bit of everything.. The quality and value is exceptional. Staff are friendly and helpful in describing the food on offer.. Comfortable canteen ambiance...modern with a Azores oceanography theme... Housed within a university building where students study fisheries management and conservation, the bar caters for students, staff, locals and tourists too.... Great place...go on, climb up through the park and get away from the tourist traps in the town centre.. A+++++++. Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bar-Ulho is a very pleasant place, always with good music and exceptional service, the staff are very friendly! You can go at lunchtime and eat a type of buffet, with various options made with local products that change every day and week. They have delicious dishes! If you want to know what to eat beforehand, they announce on social media next week's dishes the week before. It's also great for a snack, or a coffee with something sweet. The entrance is not easy to find as it is in the back of a University Department, so you have to walk/drive through the parking, but this makes the place very quiet, with a unique terrace. This place is a highlight in Horta to have a delicious lunch at a very affordable price. -- Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
