It’s a small, super chill bar with a cozy, intimate atmosphere in Mérida’s La Ermita neighborhood, not too far from the city center. The bartenders were cool and made some seriously good craft drinks. They’ve also got a restaurant, and the food was amazing. I was staying at an Airbnb nearby, so it was an easy walk. Some nights they had a DJ spinning vinyl, which made the place even better. I met the owner, and he told me the history of both the bar and the restaurant. I’m definitely going back on my next trip — highly recommend checking it out. Great spot in L’ermita right across from the park. Was a hostel called Barrio Vivo now just the Bar de Barrio. Jorge is an amazing bartender. Lovely atmosphere. Great service. They are adding a new kitchen and more seating in November. Great addition to the area. Best martini in all of Mérida! Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
