Great people, from new owner, bartender and chef, to just about everyone in the room any time. Good music playing and great live gigs. A welcoming and easygoing place where women can feel comfortable having a solo drink, people come on dates, and old friends come to just hang out. Meet John, the new owner, and for fans of Colin (who isn’t), it is not the same; but it is livelier, more live music, more focus on wines (but he has plenty whiskey) and an outgoing and engaging owner. Miss Colin but come on down to the Barleesny.
