This is a very close second to my favorite steakhouse in Caracas. I will say, there are dishes in this restaurant that are slightly elevated from regular steakhouses. Tequenos de Yuca and the way they make the Fried Yuca is most certainly classier than a regular steakhouse. We ordered Parrilla de Punta, Congri, Yuca Frita, Tajadas, and Ensalada Mixta (the absolute best dish - and that is saying something since it's just a salad) and everything was incredibly good. The four stars for the food is mainly because the steak was very good, but not excellent in terms of texture - not quite as tender as others I've had in Venezuela. The Congri, alongside the salad, was my absolute favorite. Would absolutely recommend dining at Barako! Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
