Very disappointing experience. The waiters and managers were not polite and lacked basic customer service skills. Before visiting, I was informed that the restaurant served halal food, but after arriving, I was told otherwise. The inconsistent information and poor customer service made the visit frustrating. I hope they improve both their communication and the way they treat customers. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: Rs 2,000–3,000 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4

Barasti Colombo is an absolute gem on the Dehiwala beachfront. The location is amazing, with a relaxed beachside feel that works perfectly for families, dinners out, and even night party vibes. The atmosphere is spot on - great music, great energy, and a setup that suits both casual dining and lively gatherings. The food was delicious, well-presented, and very reasonably priced. What really stood out was the friendly and welcoming staff. You can truly feel that this is a family-owned business that respects and values every customer, which makes the experience even more special. It’s a perfect place for family gatherings, corporate events, business meet ups, or just a fun night out with friends. The combination of great food, music, vibe, and location makes Barasti Colombo highly recommendable.
