This restaurant and Gotemba City Library can be both really attractive for tourists. The piquant flavours of the Spanish cuisine attract many guests. A number of visitors of Barbaro say that good mushrooms, steaks and chicken are offered here.

The terrific staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Prompt service is something clients like here. You will certainly appreciate the homey atmosphere. This place is ranked 4.4 within the Google grading system.

Everything we tried (grilled mushrooms, grilled vegetables, grilled fish, pasta of the day, cheese cake and espresso) was top notch. Watching the chef cook was a delight. He is so meticulous, no chitchatting with anyone unnecessarily, just minds his business, takes compliments with a smile and serves impeccable dishes. I read a couple of reviews that said the waitresses weren’t good, but I found them good enough. The wine serving was also generous. I recommend this restaurant if you can give time to the chef to cook and don’t mind paying for quality food. If you are in a hurry, do not go and complain. Good food takes time! Attended here after searching for some spanish tapas in the Gotemba area. Sat down and was served with an english menu which was fine. Ordered some tapas and other food. Nil complaints with the food. The service was a bit slow from the wait staff to top up water. The sangria was delecious. The only thing that let this place down was the chef. Not very welcoming and seemed short. Normally id post pictures of the food but couldnt be bothered as i wanted to eat and leave. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ¥10,000+ Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2
