Delicious Peruvian food approved by a Peruvian I went to Barra last weekend and of course I had to order two of my favourite dishes: Ceviche and Lomo Saltado. I started with the ceviche, which was beautifully crafted and absolutely delicious (I essentially inhaled the fish). For my main, I had the lomo saltado and ordered a side of chips. Hot tip from a Peruvian: pour the chips into the lomo so they can soak up all those flavours. And if you’re having ceviche, definitely order a pisco sour. Mine was perfect. I had to restrain myself from ordering a second one because I still had other parts of the city to explore! A special mention to Johana, who provided such a warm and attentive experience. She was also very careful with my dietary requirements, making sure everything worked for me as someone who is gluten free and dairy free. Really good food, great flavours and lovely service. I ate here twice in 2 days, breakfast and a late lunch, both were absolutely fabulous. Staff were terrific, I sat at the bar overlooking the kitchen and the chefs were super friendly, their attention to detail was great. Obviously very proud of the spectacular food they prepare. Lovely little restaurant, not too noisy, not too cramped, some outside seating as well, just right. I had Colombian spiced folded eggs for breakfast, lunch was the two ceviche options, scallops and beef skewer, all lovingly created by the chefs and fabulous. Nailed the Latin fusion theme, don’t walk past this one. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Elite Latin American food. Great vibe and brilliant service. Ceviche -4.5/5 really good. Didn’t love the crunch from the calamari Tuna tiradito - 5/5 must have. Empanada - 5/5 super flavourful Arepas - 4.5/5 amazing, bit more crab needed Coral lettuce salad - 5/5 Scotch fillet - 5/5 can’t go wrong. Chimichurri and guasacaca slapped Brazilian lemonada - 3.5/5 I usually love this drink, but this was a bit water down. More lime and condensed milk, less water. Chocotorta -5/5 must have Mango cheesecake -4/5 decent, nothing too special. We had a lovely waiter as well. Super friendly and get on the recommendations. Will be back Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100–120 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
