Not only should Museum of Divine Statues be visited, but also Barroco. If you're Colombian and Cuban cuisine lover, come here. Based on the visitors' opinions, waiters offer good chips and guacamole, shrimp ceviche and laing here. Nothing can be better than eating tasty tostones, ice cream and flans. Delicious tequila, Mojitos or red sangria are what can make you return to this bar. Order great fresh juices, fruit juice or americano.

You can enjoy live music in the evening. The staff is terrific that's what makes Barroco so nice. Fast service is something guests like here. Clients of this place note that they found prices fair. The cute decor and enjoyable atmosphere let clients feel relaxed here. Google users assigned the rating of 4.6 to this spot.

What a terribly disappointing experience. We had a 4pm Sunday reservation and they were out of most of the menu items. Our food took forever and when it arrived the appetizers were cold, our chicken fajitas had hair in them and the wait staff was impossible to hunt down. When we finally received our bill we had an additional $25 worth of food and drinks added on that were not part of our order. There is absolutely nothing positive I can say about the food, the staff or the experience. There are so many wonderful places to eat in Lakewood. Do yourself a favor and avoid at all costs.

It is getting warm in the city and we love a good patio situation and Barroco delivers. The patio is super colorful and festive. A great backdrop for a girls evening out. They have a great drink menu complete margaritas, mojitos etc. I ordered a passionfruit mojito, complete with a raw sugar stick, that I delightfully chewed on after my meal. I ordered a veggie arepa, with a side salad. I wanted to add grilled chicken to it but they have a policy of not adding anything to arepas. They can however, take items out of the arepa. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable.

I decided to visit Barroco Lakewood after discovering that their sister establishment (Hola Tacos) doesn't serve beer or cocktails. I'd been to the Barroco Larchmere, before it transitioned to an Hola and really enjoyed the food, drinks and especially the service. The location is pretty non-descript from the street, but upon entering you're greeted with large indoor and outdoor dining spaces, adorned with colorful tables and lightning and wonderful murals gracing every wall. Seating was prompt and you can choose where you'd prefer to sit. Most of the patio dining is covered, but there are also spots that are completely open and uncovered. Our server was friendly, but there was a definite and obvious language barrier. She did her best, but it was a bit of a struggle. There were also very large gaps of time between her stops at the table. The menu is seemingly simple and straightforward, until you order. The tacos are priced individually on the menu, but upon ordering the server stated that all tacos were ordered in threes and all must be the same. It's not stated on the menu. I was not pleased to hear that and I don't understand the rationale. At minimum, I'd advice adding the appropriate wording to the menu; ideally, I'd suggest to sell tacos individually. The food was rich with flavor and everything tasted excellent. Empanadas were crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The Birria tacos were a culinary delight! They are pan braised in their own juices, come with consomme sauce for dipping and filled with cheese, veggies and soft, juicy meat. The cocktails were strong but well mixed and refreshing. The guac was fresh and available with additional ingredients, like pineapple. The chips were average. The front entrance is accessible, but not wide. Most walkways are wide, however there is one tight corner. The bathroom was central in location and clean, with a great mural you'd never expect to find there! The patio is large, some with an awning and other seating out with the elements.A quality establishment with quality food, that's a little rough around the edges. While this was not my favorite dining experience, the food will keep me coming back for more.
